Речевые тактики дискредитации (на англоязычном и франкоязычном материале критики Д. Трампа)
Discrediting a person or a company is a problem that is getting more and more critical in modern linguistics. It appears that linguists’ attempts to escape from the formulation of the legal notion of defamatory information are substantially to blame for introducing new formulations in the queries put to experts. Similarly, the phrase “humiliation of honor and diminution of dignity” is defined by the idea of discrediting.
A person’s competition, competitor, or opponent boosts his position by casting doubt on them. It is crucial for the success of discrediting to influence or prepare the audience in advance to prejudge sensitive topics for it. From a linguistics perspective, numerous speech-discrediting techniques can be identified, including accusation, listing a lot of unfavorable information and effects of specific behaviors, indirect insult, labeling, demeaning metaphors, and ridicule.
Discrediting occurs if there is a discourse. Discourse is the primary means of generating and disseminating preconceptions and principles utilizing an examination to investigate the war and many other processes in society as a whole [Collinsdictionary]. Some nations have a unique impact on world affairs, and the political elites of these nations can influence not just their citizens’ awareness but also that of the entire global community through their discourse. Therefore, comparing the political elite’s speech in nations like France and the United States seems crucial.
The relevance of this work is demonstrated by the current patterns in the implementation of discrediting in political discourse, the absence of a sufficient quantity of research investigations in this field, and, additionally, the requirement to make inferences and structure speech discrediting tactics.

As a result, social stigmatization speech strategies are based on various linguistic phenomena, where one indication of a negative expression fits with a stereotype. If a person’s social status and role are questioned, then in the case of a social group, self-harm is accomplished by identifying with outcast formations.
The speech strategy of the violated determinant is an irrational judgment, with negative information about the subject as its principal conclusion. This indicates that the analogy employed leads to the “falsification of facts” or that the facts are merely “adjusted” to the addressee’s argument. The primary element of this strategy is algorisms which have implied negatives, whereas declarations vary in the discrepancies of their foundation to the investigation.
